Albert Aguayo Lecture
The 3rd Annual Albert Aguayo Lecture entitled "What do astrocytes do?" will be given by Ben Barres, MD, PhD, Professor of Neurobiology and Developmental Biology of Stanford University. This annual lecture honours Dr. Albert Aguayo, founder and former Director of the Centre for the Research in Neuroscience at McGill University.

The Dorothy J. Killam Lecture
This year’s Dorothy J. Killam Lecturer is Dr. Lily Jan who is a Professor of Physiology and Biochemistry at the University of California in San Francisco. Dr. Jan will deliver her lecture, “Potassium channels and calcium-activated chloride channels for neuronal signaling”.

Quebec CEGEP students may obtain their student cards as of June 11. The locations and operating hours of ID card centres on both campuses can be found on the Student Information website http://www.mcgill.ca/students. Students must be registered for at least one Fall term course, and need to bring their McGill ID number, valid photo ID, and the documents used to prove citizenship status.
