Monday marks the 108th anniversary of the first Canadian university basketball game played in Canada. The first organized intercollegiate hoops contest was played in Kingston, Ont., between McGill and Queen’s on Feb. 6, 1904. McGill defeated the Golden Gaels 9-7 in overtime.
