Education alumni Mike Babcock (BEd. (Phys. Ed) 1986), currently head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, was a recent guest at the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) fundraiser in Ontario, reported the Peterborough Examiner.

Colon or colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second leading cause of both male and female cancer-related deaths in Canada. In 2013, an estimated 23,900 Canadians were diagnosed with colon cancer. And almost half of those diagnosed died. Surprisingly, colon cancer is one of the most preventable forms of cancer.
