Doug Vandor, a Canadian Olympian who began his rowing career more than a decade ago with the novice crew at McGill University, finished fourth in the lightweight men's double at the Samsung World Rowing Cup competition in Lucerne, Sunday. It marked the second straight year that Vandor just missed the podium at the Swiss regatta.
McGill hockey players Marc-Andre Dorion and Ann-Sophie Bettez were named CIS athletes of the year on April 30 in Calgary and the 20th annual BLG Awards gala, will premiere on TSN Saturday (May 26) at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
