Co-edited by Dr. Susan Ballinger of our Department of Integrated Studies, Peer Interaction and Second Language Learning is now available via John Benjamin Publishing Company. The volume "represents the first collection of empirical studies focusing on peer interaction for L2 learning," states the publisher. Peer Interaction and Second Language Learning was also co-edited by Masatoshi Sato of Universidad Andres Bello.
Professor Aziz Choudry, of our Department of Integrated Studies, was recently featured in the London School of Economics and Political Science's Review of Books. Dr. Choudry recently co-edited, with Mondli Hlatshwayo, the publication Just Work? Migrant Workers’ Struggles Today. Reviewer Paul Clewett refers to the recent publication as a "fascinating read."
Dr. Lee Schaefer, of our Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, was the recipient of the American Educational Research Association's (AERA) Narrative Research Special Interest Groups' Award for the Most Outstanding Publication of 2016.
