Recent School of Information Studies PhD graduates Guillaume Boutard and Amandine Pras have been awarded two-year FQRSC post-doctoral fellowships.

Guillaume will be continuing his research at Université de Montréal and Amandine at Columbia University. Congratulations Guillaume & Amandine!

Postdoctoral Fellow Brice Adanhounme shortlisted for Polanyi-Levitt Prize

Armel Brice Adanhounme, a Banting postdoctoral fellow at McGill University’s Faculty of Law and associate researcher at the Interuniversity Research Centre on Globalization and Work (CRIMT), was recently  shortlisted for this year's Kari Polanyi-Levitt Prize for his paper, “Assessing Chinese Investments in sub-Saharan African Countries: An Institutional Perspective.”

C.P. Leblond - Stem Cell Renewal Theory

Over 60 years ago, Yves Clermont and Charles Leblond characterized the steps of sperm differentiation in the testis. This enabled them to identify for the first time the population of spermatogonia responsible for the production of spermatozoa. We celebrate 60 years later the publication of their landmark paper and their discovery. Read more
