Dr. Rajaa H. Khuzai, women's rights activist, humanitarian, physician and member of the Iraqi National Assembly, will discuss the challenges facing Iraqi women and students before and after Saddam Hussein.
Senior IBM personnel will present current initiatives in advanced scientific computing and professors from McGill will discuss their research in computational materials and life sciences. Topics include massively parallel computing and the Blue Gene machine, grid computing and IBM computational research in nanotechnology. A performance from the technology group of McGill's Faculty of Music will follow.
