Jacqueline Klopp, asst prof, International and Public Affairs; interim director, Program in Economic and Political Development, School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University. Her research focuses on the intersection of development, democratization, violence and corruption. Her current work is on "The politics of violence in democratization"; deforestation and democatization and a project on democratization, civil society and the internally displaced in Kenya.
