Join other alumni in the auditorium of the National Research Councilís Sussex Bldg to hear Dr John Hollins, executive director of the Energy Council of Canada, a non-profit organization with members from all parts of Canada's energy industry and related sectors, who will present the case that climate change is everyoneís business. He is eminently qualified to give us a broader understanding of the Kyoto Protocol and its impact on Canada, and to answer our questions. Light refreshments will be served.

The Ambassador of Mexico, Maria Teresa Garcia Segovia de Madero, cordially invites the McGill Alumni Association of Ottawa to attend a lecture and reception at her residence. Her Excellency has graciously opened her home to McGill once again for those alumni who missed out on this event last spring. Only McGill graduates and spouses/significant others are invited to this event. The bulk of the proceeds will be used to benefit Mexican students at McGill.
