Lending & Access Services is now providing headphones at the Loans desk in the Humanities and Social Sciences Library. You can use them to listen to CDs or DVDs on the computers in the library. Our Dell computers have DVD players on them, so they can be used as viewing stations. The loan period is 2 days. We are also making laptop locks available. These allow you to attach the lock to your laptop
CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) and ERIC (Education Resources Information Database) are no longer available via the Ovid platform. Please refer to the Library Catalogue or use Article Indexes and Databases to connect to these resources.
As of Monday, October 2, full service will be available on Levels 2 and 3 in the library. All print books and journals will be available. Access will be through Level 1 of the Barton Building. Materials placed on reserve for classes will also be available on Level 2. Computers and photocopiers will be located on Levels 2 and 3. You can return books on Level 2 at the Service Desk. The statistical analysis software SPSS is now available on one computer (EDUC 11) in the Education Library.

The Redpath section of the Humanities and Social Sciences Library will be open for study 24 hours a day, 7 days a week starting at 1:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 7, and ending at 8:00 a.m., Friday, December 22.
