Now well into its second decade, Macdonald's ever-popular Food for Thought Lecture Series is in to another series of fascinating and thought-provoking lectures with the theme "Global Carbon".
The sixth and final lecture in the series is on Tuesday, November 28 with a talk by Dr. Hugo Melgar-Quiñonez, Director, McGill Institute for Global Food Security, McGill University, who will address the issue of global food supplies.
Professor Patrick Augustin have been selected to receive a 2014 Best Paper Award by the Chinese Finance Association (TCFA) for his paper, entitled “Informed Options Trading prior to M&A Announcements: Insider Trading?” The paper will be presented at the Best Paper Symposium on October 31 in New York City. The Chinese Finance Association (TCFA) was founded in the U.S.
