11:50am - update: It appears that only the display of listings and feeds on the /channels site and myMcGill portal is impacted. Site managers and editors can continue to post, edit and unpublish News and Events items, and the changes will be reflected on the site(s) they manage.

MONTREAL — Qatar’s proposal to move the International Civil Aviation Organization’s headquarters to the Persian Gulf would be a significant blow to Montreal. ICAO, which regulates safety, security and environmental issues in international aviation, has been a key part of Montreal since the organization began operations in 1947.
