Moderated by Louise Penny, 2006 winner of the Crime Writers of Canada Arthur Ellis Award for Best First Novel, this launch showcases the educational mystery website "Great Unsolved Mysteries in Canadian History." A wine and cheese reception follows the launch and then, at 5:30 pm in the Auditorium, AnnMarie Adams, William C. Macdonald Professor, School of Architecture, will speak on "The Redpath Mansion Mystery."

Nancy Tuana, professor of philosophy and director, Rock Ethics Institute, Penn State University. An overview of the organization and work of the collaborative program on the Ethical Dimensions of Climate Change, with a focus on our efforts, initiated at a side event at the 2007 UN Convention on Climate Change, to examine ethical issues raised by the work of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). This lecture is made possible by a grant from the Beatty Memorial Lectures Committee.
