6th annual School of Information Studies (SIS) Career Fair

The SIS Career Fair mainly targets McGill graduate ‎students in Information Studies. Past fairs have attracted over 200 students, 20 ‎employers and 3 professional library associations. While geared toward students in ‎the MLIS program (150 +), attendance is open to PGSS ‎members from other McGill departments. In past years, students from political science, ‎communication and management have attended. Information about the fair is distributed campus wide ‎to this end. This Career Fair fulfills the important need for networking and mentorship by providing ‎an opportunity for students to meet professionals from the field of information science. The following organizations have confirmed their attendance: New Brunswick Public Libraries, Ottawa Public Libraries, University of Ottawa, ABQLA, Bibliothèques - Ville de Montréal, McGill Archives, McGill Libraries, Royal Victoria Hospital, Jewish General Hospital, Concordia University Libraries, Université de Montréal.
