Over the years, this conference has become an event not to be missed. Members of the scientific community will gather in Montreal to meet with members of the business community focusing in biotechnology, including health, the environment and bioprocesses. The BioTransfer segment will showcase key technology licensing opportunities in the respective portfolios of McGill University's Office of Technology Transfer and the Office of Industrial Affairs of the NRC-BRI.

Lecture - The Battle of Normandy: A Canadian success

A fascinating new interpretation of the Canadian involvement in the fighting in France, including little-known air and sea aspects of the 1944 battle. Stéphane toured the battlefields of Normandy in 1999 and will display some of his own photographs. Wartime audio and video footage will also be featured. The first lecture takes place tonight and the second, June 7.

The amazing combat career of Squadron Leader Thomas H. Hoare, DFC, who served with the RAF and RCAF in World War II. He flew every major British single-engine day fighter, shooting down 7 1/2 flying bombs and 3 enemy aircraft, after a year of instructing in Canada for the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. A multimedia presentation with Thomas Hoare in attendance to answer questions. NOTE: THE OTHER TALK TAKES PLACE JUNE 6.
