We'll explore the fear and rejection of evolution as it relates to music, science, religion, politics and education. Brian Alters, a Sir William Dawson Scholar, holds appointments in McGill's faculties of Education and Science, and in the Harvard College Observatory at Harvard University. He recently won McGill's highest teaching award, the Principal's Prize for Excellence in Teaching.
