Paul Hsiang Lecture Series: Red Pine, a.k.a. Bill Porter, a prolific and award-winning translator of classical Chinese literature. The lecture will be followed by a reception. This is the first event of the Montreal Zen Poetry Festival, March 15-18, a biennial celebration of traditional and contemporary Zen literature. This year's inaugural festival, with the theme "Words Have no Meaning," features renowned Zen poets, musicians, translators and scholars from Canada, the US and Japan.
