The Science Outreach Program at McGill University is teaming up with the Eureka! Festival: Science Here, There and Everywhere! to stage "The Physicists" by Friedrich Dürrenmatt, an enthralling comedy about three physicists -- Einstein, Newton and Möbius -- who find themselves (accidentally?) locked up in a mental asylum at the height of the Cold War. This play is the first in the Science on Stage series initiated by the McGill Science Outreach Program and will probably be staged at the Redpath Museum on March 8, 2008.

Redpath Museum : 859 rue Sherbrooke Ouest Montreal Quebec Canada , H3A 0C4

Climate change and what we can do about it. Montrealer Désirée McGraw presents a live adaptation of Al Gore's Academy award-winning documentary. One of 20 people chosen to carry Mr. Gore's message to Canada, Ms. McGraw attended a private training session on the science and solutions of climate change run by the former US vice-president in Nashville last spring. National media have called her "one of Canada's ten most influential people on environmental issues." Whether you're already convinced that climate change is happening and must be stopped, or you remain unconvinced, join us to learn more and focus on realistic solutions.
