We are currently experiencing problems with the McGill telephone system. No outbound calls are allowed at this time. However, calls coming in from outside McGill are working. An update will be posted here when more information is available.
Earlier problems with the McGill phone system have been resolved and service has been restored to 90 per cent. Some users may still experience a fast busy tone when attempting to make outbound calls. An update will be posted when more information is available.

Richard Virr, Head Curator of the Rare Books and Special Collections Division, and Janine Schmidt, Trenholme Director of Libraries, will speak on the topic "From Mesopotamia to Megabytes," starting at 1:45 pm on October 20, in the area adjacent to the entry of the Humanities and Social Sciences Library lobby area in the McLennan Library Building.
The Parents Association is hosting the first ever Parents Weekend and the Library will host a breakfast for parents on the morning of October 19, at 9:00 am. A short presentation in the area adjacent to the entry of the Humanities and Social Sciences lobby area in the McLennan Library Building will be followed by tours of Rare Books and Special Collections.
We are experiencing some telephone problems at Macdonald campus. Users are reporting that they can't get a dial tone, or are experiencing long delays in conversations, or that their calls have long rings with no answer from the called party. We will update you when more information is available.
