Celebrity Chef Chuck Hughes Will Be Serving Montrealers Free Pancakes On De La Montagne Street

You heard right, Wednesday July 9th 2014 Montreal’s famous celebrity Chef Chuck Hughes and DIESEL will be hosting a pancake breakfast right in front of their flagship store on rue de la Montagne right in the heart of downtown.

The event is on to support ONEXONE’s children foundation “Million Meals Movement” the pancakes will be free with a contribution, Miss Prêt-à-Manger will be also stirring up smoothies and DJ Yo-C and DJ Abeille will be on deck providing the street with live music throughout the event.

Scientists find important piece in the brain tumour puzzle

Scientists at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital, McGill University and McGill University Health Centre have shown that a member of the protein family known as SUMO (small ubiquitin-like modifier) is a key to why tumour cells multiply uncontrollably, especially in the case of glioblastoma. The SUMO family proteins modify other proteins and the SUMOylation of proteins are critical for many cellular processes.
