Public Astro Night

AstroMcGill presents the 28th Public Astro Night, with a public lecture by Dr. Laurens Keek. He is a post-doctoral fellow visiting the Physics Department of McGill University from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His public lecture is entitled: "The X-ray Sky: Black Holes and Neutron Stars". The lecture will be followed by night sky observations (weather permitting) and possibly a tour of an experimental astrophysics laboratory (to be confirmed).

This event is intended for a general audience, and it is free of charge. No reservation is necessary. Snacks and refreshments will be served (please bring your own cup).

The event will be held at the McGill Rutherford Physics Building, starting at 7:00pm.
