DR. NING-ZI SUN, MDCM, is a recent graduate of the McGill General Internal Medicine program (2012) and a Master Student in Health Professions Education at University of Maastricht (Maastricht, Netherlands). She is actively involved in small group and bedside teaching for medical students (pre-clerkship and clerkship). She has been involved in designing, implementing and coordinating the high-fidelity simulation-based half-day on crisis resource management for the McGill Core Internal Medicine program.
Previous and current research interests: Observership as a means of career exploration for pre-medical school students, high-fidelity simulation for training of crisis resource management skills, the role of peer review in improving residents’ ability to produce effective consultation letters, impact of duty hour restriction on resident education.
