DONALD BOUDREAU, MD, is currently the Director of the Office of Curriculum Development. The mandate of this office is to develop, deploy and evaluate the physicianship (i.e. the physician as healer and professional) component of the MD, CM curriculum. The priorities for the period 2012 to 2014 will be to revise physical examination teaching in the undergraduate medical program with an increased emphasis on functional assessment and updated with best evidence practices. We also continue to explore and develop strategies to introduce narrative medicine into the program.
