Opportunities for Visibility on Campus
Employers can gain visibility on campus through CDO events, and through the Law Students Association (LSA). The CDO and LSA maintain a combined calendar of events at the Faculty. For additional information, please see the pamphlet.
Visibility Through the CDO
CDO events are general and open to all employers. Our primary events for students to connect with employers are:
- Public Interest Career Day, usually in November;
- Career Day: Ontario, usually in January;
- Journée Carrières : Québec, usually in January; and
- Small Firm/Sole Practitioner Luncheon, usually in February.
If you'd like to participate in these events, or gain visibility in another way, please %20cdo [dot] law [at] mcgill [dot] ca (email us).
Visibility Through the LSA
The LSA is the primary vehicle for exclusive, sponsored events, or distribution of promotional material to the student body. If you or your organization would like to partner with the LSA, you can contact their Vice-President Public Relations at this %20vp-pr [dot] lsa [at] mail [dot] mcgill [dot] ca (email).
Off-Campus, In-House Events
Many firms in Montreal and elsewhere host information sessions or networking opportunities for students at their office. Through myFuture, firms can post these events online, where students can view upcoming opportunities and register in advance.
