On-Campus Interviews

On-Campus Recruitment Events are organized to streamline recruitment processes and maximize benefits for both students and employers. Activities such as counselling, résumé and cover letter workshops, and mock interviews are offered to students before these recruitment events in order to help them prepare to launch their careers.

On-Campus recruitment opportunities for summer employment and articling positions occur several times throughout the year in Montreal, as well as in Toronto. If your firm wishes to participate in on-campus recruitment please contact the CDO Coordinator.

Stages du barreau (Quebec)

The CDO helps accumulate applications for the stages du barreau (Quebec). Typically, firms interested in recruiting for the course aux stages attend the Civil Law Career Day in January and then notify the CDO if they wish to have students apply directly through McGill and then have their applications forwarded to the firms. We strongly encourage employers to post their positions on the myFuture website.

Information Events at Firms

Many firms in Montreal host information sessions or networking opportunities for students at their office. Through myFuture, firms can post these events online, where students can view upcoming opportunities and register in advance.

Firms outside of Montreal can also offer information sessions in the Faculty of Law. Please contact the CDO Coordinator for more information.
