Promoting Your Organization

There are many ways to increase the visibility of your organization. Please contact us to discuss which strategies may be the best fit for you.

Post a Job

Positions advertised on myFuture are visible by our current students and alumni. Students can search companies who have recruited at McGill and find links to your website.

Participate in the Tech Fairs

Career fairs are great way to connect with students and to promote your organization and career opportunities.

Become a Co-op and/or Internship Employer

Co-op and Internship students are your best on-campus ambassadors. Students returning from positive work experiences spread the word on campus about their experience at your organization.

Host an Information Session

Book an information session through myFuture and meet with students on campus. Introduce them to your company culture, potential career paths within your organization, and your ambassadors.

Share your Knowledge and Experience

Career education is an important mandate for our centre. Help us to increase the career preparedness of our students. Volunteer to speak (Engineers-in-Action Speaker Series; career panels), conduct mock interviews, or give a workshop.

Please see our past speakers below:

Become a Mentor

By participating in the McGill Mentor Program (for McGill alumni) you can mentor a student and contribute to their career development and acquaint them with your organization.

Connect with Student Groups

Let us help you contact our student leaders. Most student clubs, associations, design teams would welcome sponsorship, funding, guest speakers and on-site visits to your organization.

Have an Information Booth on Campus

Table rentals provide an opportunity for students to meet with representatives from your organization in an informal setting. It is possible to set up a table in a high traffic area of the Engineering Complex where you can distribute information and offer students a chance to ask questions and learn about what's out there for them.
