C.V. & Advising Drop-In Hours
Registration for Drop-In is on a "first come, first served" basis and it starts 15 minutes BEFORE the Drop-In session begins.
Please note that there is limited space available for Advising and CV Drop-ins. Depending on the time of year, we are able to take a maximum of 4-8 undergraduate students for each Undergraduate Advising/CV Drop-in timeslot. Currently we only accept 2 graduate students for each Graduate Advising/CV Drop in timeslot.
Undergraduate CV Drop-In (Downtown)
A Career Advisor or Peer Educator will provide basic feedback and suggestions regarding your CV during the drop-in. Should this revision period prove insufficient, we would recommend you make an individual appointment for a later time. Please bring a paper copy of your CV. (Note: Please know we unfortunately cannot review cover letters during this time). Available times:
- Monday: 14h30-15h30
- Tuesday: 13h30-14h30
- Wednesday: 14h00-15h00
- Thursday: 10h00-11h00
- Friday: 11h00-12h00
Undergraduate Advising Drop-In (Downtown)
Students can drop in to CaPS to speak with a Career Advisor without an appointment for a quick question you may have or as a preliminary meeting to help you start setting your future goals. Available times:
- Monday: 10h00-11h00
- Tuesday: 15h00-16h00
- Wednesday: 15h00-16h00
- Thursday: 11h00-12h00
- Friday: 14h00-15h00
Undergraduate CV / Advising Drop-In (Macdonald Campus)
Although Macdonald campus does not have regular drop in time, students are welcome to drop in with their CV during our regular hours. We are usually able to look over your CV on the spot, or can book an appointment for you within a short delay. Graduate CV / Advising Drop-In (Downtown)
Graduate students can drop in to CaPS to have their CV looked over or for a quick advising question with a Career Advisor at the following times:
