Most students need to find a job during school or in the summer to help finance themselves through their studies. These types of jobs not only can get you money, but can also give you skills that can make you more marketable to employers after graduation. They also allow you to learn more about what your skills and interests are, and could enable you to make good career choices.
In U0 and U1, many students obtain summer and part-time jobs in the service sector or in day camps. Working on-campus is also a common job, but keep in mind you have to start your search early as these opportunities fill quickly and many are not advertised on-line. You can find on-campus jobs on-line by visiting the following sites:

By the time you reach U2 or U3, you should try to get a summer or part-time job that can give you relevant experience in your chosen career field. For more information on what type of job that may be, you can go to Explore your Career Options and then schedule an appointment with a Career Advisor.
For part-time and summer jobs, please refer to the list of websites and additional resources below, as well as the CaPS list of General Job Listings. Please be aware that most service jobs in Montreal require you to be bilingual (French and English).
