The interdisciplinary nature of cancer genetics research requires successful collaborative efforts. Our accomplishments would not be possible without involvement of McGill faculty members in various areas such as surgical pathology, surgery, medical oncology, radiotherapy, gynecology, genetic counselling, epidemiology and statistics, etc. We have also developed long-standing collaborations with researchers at the Université de Montréal, University of Toronto, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center, the International Agency for Research in Cancer (IARC, Lyon, France), the Institute for Cancer Research (Sutton, UK), Institut Central des Hôpitaux Valaisans (Sion, Switzerland) and many other institutions in North America and Europe.
