Calculating an individual's cancer risk is a complex task and requires obtaining detailed information on many factors, including age, gender, family history of cancer, ethnic background, skin complexion, tobacco smoking, alcohol drinking, exposure to occupational and environmental carcinogens, exposure to radiation, dietary habits, and reproductive health history. Here is a brief questionnaire with a checklist of the most important lifestyle factors that you can do something about in terms of reducing your risk of cancer.
