Letter to the Editor
Hilda Tremblett, BA’49, MDCM’55, writes “I was both surprised and amused to see a 63- year-old photograph of me on page 4 of Making History (Fall ’08 issue). I was in Grade 11 in Bonavista, Newfoundland. The photo was taken with a Brownie camera, the only type most people had in 1945.” Dr. Tremblett describes her gratitude to both J.W. McConnell and McGill, two sources of financial support helping her during her studies. “McGill has always been special for me. It took a chance on me, for which I am eternally grateful.”
