The McGill Bookstore and the McGill Computer Store will be closed Thursday April 16th, Friday April 17th and Saturday April 18th for inventory. Both stores will reopen Monday April 20th at 9am. TEXTBOOK BUYBACK- EXTENDED HOURS:
Recycle your textbooks for cash. Weekdays, starting Monday April 13th until April 30th (closed on April 16-19th for inventory) from 10-5pm. Alumni Maple Syrup has arrived!
It’s time to celebrate the maple syrup season. This year the Morgan Arboretum offers something special- McGill alumni maple syrup. This tasty treat is produced in Howick, Quebec, by McGill alumnus Robert Anderson. Yellow Sale- Save up to 50% on a wide selection of mathematics titles:
The McGill Bookstore’s annual Yellow Sale starts March 19th. Swing by the Bookstore’s second floor and save up to 50% on a wide selection of mathematic titles. Click on this link to view additional titles, available to order, at the discounted price for the duration of the sale (from March 19th to July 31st, 2015 inclusively). Catalogue prices are in American dollars and will be converted at the cash. Prices are also subject to change. Ways to Save Money:
We are continuously adopting new practices and services to try and provide the best value to our customers. The following are ways to help save you money with regards to course materials.
- Textbook rentals: You can now opt to rent your books instead of purchasing them. This option can save you up to 40% of the original cost.
- Digital course packs: We build course packs in house to save you money on books. This year we have introduced digital course packs for additional savings. You can save 40-50% of the original print cost when you opt to purchase a digital course pack.
- Used textbooks: We offer used textbooks for many of the courses taught at McGill. This option reduces the price of a book significantly.
- Textbook Buyback: We buy back books from students all year round. This option can save you up to 50% of the original value of the book.
