Three leaders, one cause
The Bloomberg Manulife Prize for the Promotion of Active Health was created by three founding partners, each a widely respected leader in their field. They are united in their desire to recognize the researchers whose work is helping North Americans live longer and better lives.
Leaders from the Field
Every year, applications for the Bloomberg Manulife Prize for the Promotion of Active Health are judged by a jury of distinguished academics.
These leading thinkers from universities and research institutions across North America will have demonstrated their own long-term and significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge related to the promotion of active health and well-being. They also possess a proven track record of translating their research into action.
The Bloomberg Manulife Prize for the Promotion of Active Health, valued at $50,000 CAD, is offered each year by McGill University to an academic whose research has had, or has the potential to have, a significant impact on the health and well-being of North Americans (with research taking place within the last five years).
