Parking for Staff with Disabilities
Parking is available for staff who require parking for disability related reasons. Staff requiring parking must send their request in writing to HR Pensions, Benefits and Payroll and include supporting medical documentation. Please have your treating physician complete the Physician's Statement for Parking Services or Adapted Transport [.pdf]. If you have a temporary disability, the documentation should include an expected end date.

Adapted Transport Service
Staff who require assistance moving around the McGill downtown campus, due to a temporary or permanent disability, can register with HR Pensions, Benefits and Payroll to use McGill’s free adapted transport service.
To register for this service, staff must provide supporting medical documentation. Please have your treating physician complete the Physician's Statement for Parking Services or Adapted Transport [.pdf]. Submit your request by email to Sharron Smith or by fax to Pensions, Benefits, and Payroll at 514 398-6889. For further information, please call Sharron Smith at 514 398-2104.
Once registered, the adapted van will transport staff between any of McGill’s downtown buildings, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. When staff need to use the van, they can contact the driver directly at 514 238-0764 from a regular phone, or at *287 from specially designated yellow phones in the lobby of each major campus building. Transport from Solin Hall, and on the Macdonald Campus** are not covered by this service.
