The present establishment consists of four main buildings containing both laboratory and living accommodation sited close to the sea. There are two bright and airy laboratories supplied with running sea water, and several concrete aquaria and smaller tanks and tables are available for experimental work. Two air-conditioned laboratories without running sea water are available for a wide range of chemical and physiological analytical procedures. Fresh water, bottled gas and electrical current (110/220 volts, 50 cycles) are fitted in each laboratory. Microscopes, balances and standard laboratory glassware are available as are drying ovens, a spectrophotometer, a centrifuge, an autoclave and other analytical equipment.
