Access is limited to Sports Complex members. McGill students who have paid the Athletics and Recreation fee as part of their tuition are automatically considered members. McGill staff, faculty and alumni must pay an annual or monthly fee. Members of the community and non-McGill students are also welcome to pay an annual or monthly fee to become members.
Day passes can be purchased by McGill staff and faculty upon presentation of their McGill ID card and by individuals accompanied by a McGill Sports Complex member.
During the summer (as of May 1), day passes may be purchased by the general public without being accompanied by a Sports Complex member.
Access to the McGill Sports Complex is restricted to members and their guests, except during the summer months (May-August) where the general public may use the facilities with the purchase of a day pass.
One-time entry can be gained by presenting a photo ID and/or reciting your membership/student or staff number to the Front Desk service officer. After the initial reprieve, any lost card must be replaced. McGill students and staff should replace their University-issued I.D. cards through the procedures outlined by the University. Members who possess an Athletic and Recreation membership card should visit Client Services (G-20) for a replacement card at a cost of $10.00.
There is a $10.00 cancellation fee to discontinue your membership and/or locker. Refunds must be requested in person in Client Services . (Rm G-20). – Refund amounts are prorated and will be adjusted daily for memberships and monthly for lockers.
Request to suspend a membership will be accepted on a case by case basis only.
Memberships can be purchased On-Line or in-person at Client Services (RmG-20) located in the McGill Sports Centre at 475 Pine ave West. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, Visa or Mastercard.

Yes, children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult if the child is under the age of 16.
Through the spring and summer months (May through August), full-time McGill students must purchase a summer membership in order to gain access to the Sports Complex. To be eligible for the summer rate, students must have been registered full-time at McGill through the previous semester.
No. Membership includes access to all facilities except the Fitness Centre. Fitness Centre are sold to Sports Complex members only.
During the fall and winter semester, the building opens weekdays at 06h30 and closes at 22H30. Weekend hours are 09h00-21h00. Spring/summer hours are weekdays from 06h30-20h30 and weekends from 09h00-17h30. (Hours of Operation)
Please note that activities start 15 minutes after the facility opens and end 30 minutes before the facility closes.

The Sports Complex is closed on most official holidays as well as select days surrounding the holidays. Check the web frequently for up-to-date schedules.
All gear is stored in baskets in our Equipment area which can be transferred to a locker in the locker room during your workout. A basket and towel service is available to all Sports Complex members. Monthly, semester or annual fees are available. For more info on fees visit Locker & Towel Services.
Day lockers are available for free by using your own lock. All locks must be removed by the end of day.
A limited number of premium (large sized) lockers are available on a semester basis for an additional fee.
To reduce the risk of theft, we recommend you supply your own lock. Locks are sold in the Redbird Sports Shop located in the McGill Sports Centre.
Lockers are only cleared upon expiration of your locker contract.
All items left in baskets that have not been renewed will be removed and sent to the local homeless shelter.
Towel service is included in the rental of a locker. Payment is made in Client Services after which the towel is picked up from the Equipment room.
