Morin-Boucher nets two as soccer Martlets battle Laval to 2-2 draw

Alexandra Morin-Boucher scored two nice goals as McGill battled Laval to a 2-2 draw in women's indoor soccer on Saturday afternoon in Saint Eustache. The bitter rivals remain tied atop the standings.

Soccer women get four all-star berths, two major awards

McGill midfielder Julia Bahen of Vancouver, B.C., and head coach Marc Mounicot are among the major award winners and all-stars announced by the Quebec University Soccer League, Wednesday. Bahan, an 18-year-old arts freshman, is one of four members of the Martlets to earn all-conference honours and has been voted rookie of the year.

McGill University has won its bid to host the national women’s soccer championship in 2011. Canadian Interuniversity Sport announced Monday the winning bids for 13 upcoming CIS championships in cross country, soccer, swimming, track and field and volleyball.

Soccer-Martlets 4, Concordia 0: McGill rolls on to the conference playoffs

A roller coaster regular season ended at its peak on Sunday as the McGill Martlets defeated the Concordia Stingers 4-0 at Concordia Stadium. The Martlets' win was their fifth in a row-their longest winning streak of the season-and vaulted them into the Quebec conference playoffs, where they'll face the top-ranked University of Montreal Carabins.
