Our mission:
1) To increase the quality, quantity, and success rate of grant applications by Faculty of Arts researchers;
2) To support and expand interdisciplinary research initiatives;
3) To promote and disseminate the research accomplishments of Faculty of Arts researchers.
4) To track and identify research trends and new directions.
What we do:
1) We provide personalized advice on grant application strategies, team formation, grant writing, editing, and budgeting for Faculty of Arts researchers;
2) We maintain up-to-date information on grant programs and track grant application outcomes across the Faculty of Arts;
3) We maintain a Grant Proposal Lending Library for Faculty of Arts researchers;
4) We support the Peer Grant Mentoring program in individual Arts departments and units;
5) We promote Faculty of Arts research accomplishments through our website, publications, conference participation, and special events.
6) We monitor trends and new directions in research for the social science and humanities provincially, federally, and internationally.
