Applicants from Quebec CEGEPs
Students admitted on the basis of the CEGEP Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) are normally granted 30 credits of advanced standing, reducing a 120-credit requirement to 90 credits or six semesters. Some programs are longer, including B.Eng.(Bioresource), Dietetics, Engineering, Music, Nursing, Physical and Occupational Therapy, and most programs in Education. For more information about the length of programs at McGill, refer to the Programs, Courses and University Regulations publication at www.mcgill.ca/study.
