Course Lecturer (contract academic staff)
A person appointed on a contractual course-by-course basis to teach one or more courses.
The Regulations Relating to the Employment of Contract Academic Staff (CAS) govern this academic classification. Note: Course Lecturers unionized as of August 2011. The Regulations Relating to the Employment of Contract Academic Staff remain effective for this classification in the interim period until a collective agreement is reached.
