Instructor (contract academic staff)

An unranked contractual appointment (may be paid by the hour). Appointee is responsible for activities such as the following: practical instruction within a course; one-on-one practical instruction; directing of small ensembles; overseeing students engaged in practical aspects of their programs; running/teaching an intensive workshop (less than 13 contact hours).

The Regulations Relating to the Employment of Contract Academic Staff (CAS) govern this academic classification.
