Want to learn more about McGill and Montreal? Run in conjunction with Homecoming, Parents Weekend is a great opportunity to meet other members of the McGill community, including fellow parents, staff and alumni.

Please save the date for our Sixth Annual McGill Parents Weekend, Thursday, October 11 to Sunday, October 14, 2012. Events will take place at various locations across McGill's campus and beyond.

What is Parents Weekend?

Parents Weekend, run in conjunction with McGill Homecoming, is designed to give families a taste of what Montreal and McGill have to offer. You will find a schedule of the events we have organized for you and yours this year on these pages at the end of August.

Parents Weekend 2012 offers a wonderful opportunity to hear lectures by some of our top professors, enjoy a concert featuring talented student musicians, attend our Parents Association Annual Dinner, or explore the McGill campus and the beautiful city of Montreal – all while spending time with your son or daughter.

Students are welcome at Parents Weekend events, by the way – all you have to do is include them when you register for an activity.

Parents in North America who are registered with the Parents Association will also receive a printed copy of the program by mail in September. To make sure you receive yours, register with the Parents Association now.
