In October 2007, the University launched Campaign McGill: History in the Making. This comprehensive fundraising drive is raising $750-million toward McGill’s top priorities in all areas of its work, from research support and new professorships to infrastructure and student aid.
May 2010 marks the start of the Campus Community Campaign, the latest component of Campaign McGill. Its central goal is to increase donations to the McGill Annual Fund by faculty, staff and students. As a result, we have not framed our objective in terms of dollars and cents. Instead, we simply hope to expand the number of McGill donors in these constituencies.
Faculty, staff and students are already playing a significant role in helping the University to reach its ambitious fundraising objective. And, as the Campus Community Committee, we feel the time has come for us to assume a leadership position in Campaign McGill. That’s why we’re encouraging all members of the McGill community to make a donation – big or small – to demonstrate their support.
By donating to the Campus Community Campaign, you are sending an important message: that the people who know McGill best also believe in the University’s mission and the necessity of Campaign McGill as a means of ensuring that McGill remains a world-class institution of higher learning. At the same time, you will be leaving a lasting legacy that will make the University a better place to live, work and learn for generations to come. Give now >>
