The Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital is a unique academic medical centre where scientists both generate breakthrough knowledge and apply their findings to understanding and treating neurological disease.
MNI breakthroughs have added considerably to the body of knowledge on Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, brain tumours, electroencephalography, nerve cell behaviour, memory and much more.
But big ideas don't fit into small spaces, and the MNI is bursting at the seams. With your support, the Institute will – among other things – expand its facilities, launch North America's first neuropalliative care program, and further the promising neuroengineering research that may have enormous benefits for patients limited by spinal cord injuries, strokes, trauma or amputation.
