Namibia is a true gem for those in search of wilderness and wil dlife. It is a country boasting rugged mountains, lonely deserts, wild s eascapes, stunning animal life, colonial cities and nearly unlimited elb ow room. The desolate Namib Desert, said to be the oldest in the worl d, stretches seemingly forever and contrasts with the rewarding game view ing of Etosha National Park in the northern part of the country. We will t ravel from the magnificent Fish River Canyon in the south to the record-br eaking sand dunes of Sossusvlei and then on to the coastal town of Swakopm und. From there we view the ancient rock paintings of Damaraland and g o on safari amidst the elephants, lions and cheetah of Etosha. _________ ______________________
